Police Blotter: Domestic Battery & Traffic Violation Arrests

Also, police report bicycles swiped from an open garage on Rose Lane.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Nov. 7: Gordon R. Gruetzmacher, 26, 524 Camden, Romeoville was charged with domestic battery/physical contact. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Nov. 8: Alma R. Gayton, 23, 1881 Pebblestone, Romeoville, was charged with driving on a suspended license and a display plate attachment infraction. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Nov. 7: Robert J. DeLaRosa, 29, 1533 Daisy, Romeoville, was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 21: A burglary was reported in the 700 block of Sunrise Drive. Unknown person(s) took five pre-hung doors from the building site. Estimated cost of the items taken is $380.25. Time: 11:15 a.m.

Oct. 26: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 600 block of Fenton. Unknown person(s) used a marker to deface the garage door of the residence. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $20. Time: 10:22 p.m.

Oct. 28: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Highpoint Drive. A concrete block was thrown through a vehicle window, and a wallet was discovered missing. Estimated cost of the wallet, contents and repairs to the window is $153. Time: 9:11 a.m.

Oct. 29: A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Rose Lane. Unknown person(s) took bicycles from the open garage of the residence. Estimated cost of the bicycles is $250. Time: 10:19 p.m.
