Aug. 20
1. Jewelry, CDs stolen from home
A resident reported that several items, including jewelry and CDs worth a total of $2,300, were stolen from a home in the 500 block of Kingston, police said.

A semi-tractor worth an estimated $50,000 was stolen from a business parking area in the 900 block of Independence Boulevard, police said.
3. Bicycle stolen
A thief nabbed a 26-inch boys bicycle left unattended in the 100 block of Highpoint, according to police. The bike is worth an estimated $500.
4. Garbage bin stolen
Someone stole a green Waste Management garbage container that had been left on the street in front of a residence in the 0-100 block of Freesia Drive, police said. The container is valued at $75.

5. Business’ window smashed
Someone used a blunt object to break a window at a business in the 1000 block of Schmidt Road, causing $300 in damage, according to police.
Aug. 26
6. Customer’s cash stolen
A customer who had changed clothes and stored a wallet and clothing in a locker at a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive returned to find the wallet and cash, worth a total of $1,350, missing, police said.
