March 9
Stolen scrap metal
said more than $6,800 worth of scrap copper and metal was stolen from a business in the 800 block of Materials Road.

Vandal smashes car window

Someone used a landscape brick to smash the rear windshield of a car parked in the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Willow, police said, causing $250 in damage.

More stolen copper
A thief or thieves stole $400 worth of spools of copper wire from a warehouse in the 800 block of Material Drive, according to police.
Stereo equipment stolen from car
An employee at a business in the 900 block of Independence reported that someone stole a stereo, amplifier and subwoofers from an unlocked car in the parking lot. The items are worth an estimated $1,100.
March 15
Stolen pump
Someone nabbed a trailer-mounted grout pump worth $12,000 after it was left parked in front of a business in the 500 block of Independence Boulevard.
March 17
Car vandalized
Someone used an unknown object to damage the rear window and passenger-side windows of a car parked in the 1800 block of Sierra Trail. The siding on the home was also damaged. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $750, police said.
