Police Blotter: Burglary Arrest; Thefts from Cars, Yards; Semi-Trailer Stolen

Arrests and property crime reports made by the Romeoville Police Department.

Keandre Trayvon Johnson, 18, 521 Laurel, , arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Aug. 11 on charges of burglary and criminal trespass to vehicles.

Derrick C. Lewis, 20, 989 Princeton Ave., Romeoville, arrested by the and booked into the Will County jail on Aug. 9 and arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Property crimes

A semi-trailer valued at $15,000 taken from the parking lot of a business in the 1100 block of Remington. Theft reported at about 12:20 p.m. July 30.

A power washer valued at $300 was reported stolen at 10:35 a.m. July 31 from a garage of a residence in the 600 block of Murphy Drive.

Several metal lawn chairs valued at $150 were reported stolen at about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 2 from the back yard of a residence in the 600 block of Mecosta Lane.

A temporary license plate valued at $99 was reported stolen at about 9:50 a.m. Aug. 3 from a vehicle parked in the lot of a business in the 1100 block of Independence Boulevard.

A satellite dish valued at $200 was reported stolen at about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 4 from a garage roof of a residence in the 1200 block of Grand Boulevard. 

A wallet and cash valued at $100 was reported stolen at about 1:50 p.m. Aug. 5 from a vehicle parked in the lot of a business in the 600 block of Independence Boulevard.
