Police Blotter: Battery, Property Damage, Unpaid Child Support

Friday

Failure to pay child support

Donald Jerkovic, 26, of the 300 block of Fairfax, Romeoville, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's officers on a charge of failure to pay child support. Bail was set at $468 and Jerkovic was released on Friday, according to sheriff's department records.

Battery, property damage

Richard J. Saunders, 35, of the 1300 block of Southhaven Drive, Lenoir, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with criminal damage to state property, knowingly damaging property and domestic battery, as well as being booked on two warrants, according to county records. Bail was set at $3,500.

Battery arrest

Oscar Deanda-Moreno, 34, of the 100 block of Mountain Laurel, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with domestic battery, according to sheriff's department records. Bail was set at $350.

Thursday

Drug charge

Devon M. Kalas, 23, of the 300 block of Eaton, Romeoville, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, according to county booking records.
