Police Blotter: Arson/Burglary, DUI, Trespass, Pot Possession Charges

Arrests made by the Romeoville Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.

Javonte D. Craig, 21, 327 Amaryllis, Romeoville, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 21 on charges of arson, burglary, criminal trespass to property and knowingly damaging property.

Joseph Garcia, 40, 11326 S. Avenue L, Chicago, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 11:55 p.m. Dec. 28 at Taylor Road and Pinnacle Drive and charged with possession of cannabis, no driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Steven Marston, 54, 630 S. Edgewood, LaGrange, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at Route 53 and Taylor Road and charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding.

Michael D. Stacken, 21, 429 Dalhart Ave., Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 2:25 a.m. Jan. 1 at Route 53 and Renwick Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage.

Matthew Burcenski, 34, 1520 Azalea Circle, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 2:20 a.m. Jan. 5 at Weber Road and Creekside Drive and charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding.

Casey Holloway, 30, homeless, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 0 to 100 block of South Weber Road and charged with criminal trespass to property.

David Caveda, 23, 114 Terry Ellen Lane, New Lenox, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 1:20 a.m. Jan. 8 in the 600 block of South Weber Road and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to reduce speed.

Vito Perez, 35, 7744 Woodward Ave., Woodridge, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 3:50 a.m. Jan. 9 at Route 53 and Murphy Drive and charged with no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.
