A Romeoville officer was among the law enforcement attendees who volunteered their time for more training last weekend.
Instructor Robert Amos from Indianapolis' Israeli Krav Maga taught hand-to-hand combat techniques to members of law enforcement last weekend at the Illinois Rifle Association range near Kankakee. About 30 police officers and deputies attended the two-day training on their own time without pay. The session was sponsored by the Illinois Crime Commission and the Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow.
