Custodian Charged in Connection with Theft of Electronic Tablets

Romeoville police arrested a Plainfield man May 22 in connection with the theft of several electronic tablets from Sony Corp., 99 Pinnacle Drive, Romeoville.
Octavish H. Sanders, 39, of the 13000 block of Jones Port Ct., Plainfield, was charged with theft.
According to Romeoville Deputy Police Chief William Denney, Sony officials notified police they had allegedly observed Sanders attempting to steal the tablets at the company’s Romeoville location, where he works as a custodian.

Police arrested Sanders at Sony at 4:13 p.m., Denney said.
