Season of Giving: Romeoville Students Bring in the Harvest
Local residents donate food items in Northern Will County's 20th Annual Harvest Food Drive.
An unseasonably cold weekend didn't deter some Romeoville High School students from participating in Northern Will County's 20th Annual Harvest Food Drive.
Joyce Kim, Shianna Arevalo and Kristen Herrera volunteered their time to help gather community donations Saturday in Romeoville, according to a Valley View School District news release.
St. Andrew the Apostle Church served as the collection site and local residents were asked to leave food donations by their front door step. The result: Warm thoughts took the bite out of a prevailing expression of cold, "Brrr."
