Romeoville Resident Jazmin Huerta Puts Artwork on Display at Lewis University

Senior Capstone Art show challenges Lewis University students to put their newly acquired skills out for judgment in a professional exhibition experience.

The following news release was submitted by Lewis University:

The biannual Senior Capstone Art Exhibition will be on display through Dec. 14 in the Lewis University Art Gallery with a special reception at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5. The free exhibit is open to the public from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekends.

Lewis University senior Jazmin Huerta of Romeoville is involved in the exhibit.

This biannual art show coincides with the Department of Art and Design's capstone course, Senior Project. This course challenges the graduating students to put their newly acquired skills and understanding of art to the test by participating in a professional exhibition experience.

The students involved in the exhibition include senior art majors Jazmin Huerta, Connor McLennan of Naperville, Laura Pindelski of Orland Park and Amanda Rock of Plainfield.
