Clara is Looking for a Home—Maybe Yours?

Clara is a 1-year-old Houd mix available for adoption through the Romeoville Humane Society.

Here is how she is described by a spokesperson for the Romeoville Humane Society:

"Hi, my name is Clara. My favorite things to do—besides playing, running and catching toys—are cuddling and getting belly rubs. I understand commands such as 'sit' and 'crate' and 'come' and 'toy' and 'down' and 'leave it' and 'off.'

"I enjoy going on walks, am good on a leash and am fully house trained. Being the nice young lady I am, I do get along with other dogs but not all other dogs seem to like me so there is a possibility it would be best if I am the only dog in the home.

"I have not yet been exposed to cats. I don't bark a lot or create any disturbances. I am a good girl who is always on her best behavior and will be a great new addition to your family."
