Sock Hop Benefits Ray Holloway House Fund

A sock hop fundraiser to benefit a fund to build an American Legion post and veterans home is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, May 20, at Leo's Bar & Grill in Romeoville.

The May 20 benefit will include a live D.J. playing hits from the '50s and '60s, 50/50 and other raffles and more. Tickets are $15 each or $25 per couple and include cover chage, limited draft beer and pasta.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from any American Legion Auxiliar member of by calling Petra Burgess at 815-372-9260. Tickets will also be sold at the door. 

All proceeds will benefit the Ray Holloway house project. Monetary donations will also be accepted throughout the night to benefit the project.
