The Vaughn family is organizing a coat drive to benefit area shelters including MorningStar Mission, Daybreak and Guardian Angel Home.
Donations are being acception of new and gently used coats, hats, scarves and gloves in adult and kids' sizes.

- Habitat for Humanity store, 200 Larkin Ave., Joliet (10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday)
- Re/Max, 24014 Renwick Rd., Plainfield (8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday)
- Gnade Insurance, 219 N. White St., Frankfort (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Sunday)
