Snow Could Slow Friday Afternoon Commute

AccuWeather.com is predicting lake-effect snow hitting the Chicago area by Friday afternoon, with falling temperatures making roads slick as the snow begins to freeze.

According to the , there is a chance of snow for the Romeoville area beginning Friday morning, with snow showers likely in the afternoon. Significant accumulation is possible, and temperatures are predicted to drop into the 20s by afternoon. Snow will continue Friday night with lows of 10 to 14 degrees.
