Romeoville Man Thrown in Jail Again

Bench warrant executed; bond is set at $20,000 for Charles K. Rosa.

Charles K. Rosa, 21, of 332 Emery, Romeoville, was arrested Tuesday by Crest Hill police on a bench warrant for a failure to appear in court, according to Crest Hill Police Chief Dwayne Wilkerson.

Rosa was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bond was set at $20,000.

Wilkerson said Rosa’s arrest on Tuesday (Aug. 27) stemmed from him missing a court appearance. He was arrested and charged with residential burglary—a felony—in August of 2011 by Romeoville police.

According to Will County Sheriff’s Office records, Rosa also was charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer in September of 2011.
