Police Blotter: Traffic Violations, Warrant & Retail Theft Arrests

A 42-year-old Plainfield man was arrested on a charge of retail theft in the 200 block of South Weber Road, police report.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s office:

Oct. 2: Edwin L. Rodriguez, 35, 207 Murphy, Romeoville, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of driving more than 15-20 mph above the speed limit and DL expired for more than a year. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 21: Julian Velazquez, 23, 358 First Ave., Joliet, was cited for no valid DL, speeding, no insurance and defective windshield at Dalhart and Corona.

Sept. 21: Elias Figueroa, 40, 251 Summerfield, Romeoville, was arrested on an in-state warrant in the 200 block of Summerfield Drive.

Sept. 21: Jeffrey Morales, 30, 68 Kempton, Romeoville, was cited for DWLS in the 0-100 block of S. Weber Road.

Sept. 21: Rashmi Patel, 42, 5120 New Haven Court, Plainfield, was arrested on a charge of retail theft in the 200 block of S. Weber Road.
