Police Blotter: Traffic Violations & Possession of Cannabis Arrests

Also, police report the arrest of a juvenile on a pot charge during an incident at Route 53 and McKool Avenue.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Dec. 17: Rita Rubio, 25, 235 Haller, Romeoville, was charged with no valid registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with no license. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Dec. 6: Terres Thomas, 19, 105 Cedarbend Drive, Romeoville, was charged on an in-state warrant at Belmont Drive at Everette.

Dec. 6: Jay Harris, 51, 24044 Deer Ridge Drive, Stover, Mo., was charged with DWLR, no insurance and disobeying a traffic sign at Normantown road, near Weber Road.

Dec. 7: Sergio Alfaro, 23, 616 Superior, Romeoville, was charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of cannabis, no insurance, speeding and disobeying a traffic sign at Route 53, south of Taylor Road.

Dec. 7: A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of cannabis at Route 53 at McKool.

Dec. 7: Starkeshia Hampton, 29, 820 Milan Ave., Joliet, was charged with DWLS, no insurance and no seat belt at Weber Road at Lakeview.
