Police Blotter: Piggy Bank Reported Stolen in Residential Burglary on McKool—Or is That UnCool?

Also, police report that a 29-year-old Romeoville man is charged in connection with a violation of protection order.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Dec. 12: Vincent A. Salazar, 29, 142 Azalea, Romeoville, was booked on a charge of violating an order of protection. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Nov. 26: A residential burglary was reported in the 300 block of McKool. Unknown person(s) took a piggy bank containing change from the resident. Estimated value of the currency is $90. Time: 6:02 p.m.

Nov. 28: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 200 block of Murphy. Unknown persons used spray paint to damage the fence at the residence. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $25. Time: 12:59 p.m.

Nov. 28: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 200 block of Haller. Unknown persons used spray paint to damage the fence at the residence. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $25. Time: 1:31 p.m.

Nov. 29: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 500 block of Susan. Unknown persons used spray paint to damage the garage door of the residence. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $50. Time: 8:13 p.m.
