Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft & Warrant Arrests

Police report a 22-year-old woman from Plainfield is charged in a retail theft incident on South Weber Road.

The following arrests were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Nov. 5: John Charles Erickson, 68, 742 Flint, Romeoville, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 25: Jesus Ramos, 25, 3620 S. 61st Court, Cicero, was charged with no valid DL and speeding at Taylor Road at Troxel.

Oct. 25: Theresa Szmergalski, 67, 806 S. Farrell Road, Lockport, was charged with retail theft in the 200 block of S. Weber Road.

Oct. 25: Margarita Puntos, 34, 306A Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with no valid DL and speeding at Route 53, south of Airport Road.

Oct. 26: Samantha Kling, 22, 21036 W. Aspen, Plainfield, was charged with retail theft in the 200 block of S. Weber Road.

Oct. 26: Diana Escobedo, 30, 453 Greentree Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged on an in-state warrant in the 200 block of Pell.

Oct. 26: Richard Falcetta, 50, 14160 Longview Lane, Plainfield, was charged with DWLS, speeding and no DL on person at Taylor Road at Weslake Pkwy.
