Police Blotter: DUI, Obstructing an Officer & Warrant Arrests

Police arrest 57-year-old man on charge of retail theft in 400 block of South Weber Road.

The following arrests were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Oct. 18: Lenell B. Huddleston, 40, 1533 Baytree, Romeoville, was arrested by Joliet police on a Will County warrant. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 28: Juan Garcia, 23, 613 Maplewood, Minooka, was arrested by Romeoville police on a charge of obstructing an officer in the 400 block of N. Weber Road.

Oct. 2: Carlos Chavez, 28, 509 Bollinger Road, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police on charges of DUI, improper lane use and improper turn at Airport Road and Weber Road.

Oct. 4: Douglas Martin, 34, 740 Farragut, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police on a charge of battery in the 1100 block of North Independence.

Oct. 7: Deward Shines, 57, 204 S. Highpoint Drive, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police on a charge of retail theft in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Oct. 7: Shandell Mexican, 18, 6331 W. 63rd St., Chicago, was arrested by Romeoville police on a charge of no valid DL and fail to yield at Joliet Road and Sherman.
