Police Blotter: Battery, Resisting a Peace Officer & DUI Arrests

Also, police report a 21-year-old Romeoville woman was charged in connection with a retail theft in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Jan. 13: Megan Lynn Kuehl, 24, 636 Jordan, Romeoville, was charged with battery/cause bodily harm and resisting a peace officer. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Jan. 13: Barry J. Jackson, 27, 530 Scott Lane, Romeoville, was booked on charges of resisting a peace officer/corr emp/frtr. He was transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Dec. 29: Nicholas Ducato, 38, 20842 W. Aspen Court, Plainfield, was charged with DWLR, no insurance, no front plate and obscured rear plate at Weber Road at Lakewood Falls.

Dec. 29: Jorge Reyes, 23, 925 Hickory, Joliet, was charged with no valid DL and speeding at Route 53 at Taylor Road.

Dec. 30: Maria Olmo, 21, 1252 Santa Fe, Romeoville, was charged with retail theft in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Dec. 31: Zamudio Torres, 22, 3517 Sumac Drive, Joliet, was charged with retail theft in the 200 block of South Weber Road.

Jan. 1: Kristie Virgl, 21, 7817 Briarcliff, Plainfield, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage at Normantown Road, east of Weber Road.

Jan. 1: Damian Mucha, 26, 299 Shenandoah, Romeoville, was charged with DUI, no insurance, improper lane use, no DL on person and driving too fast for conditions at Weber Road, south of Grant Blvd.
