Police Blotter: Aggravated DUI & Theft Arrests
Also, a 42-year-old Joliet man is charged in connection with a traffic incident at Weber Road, north of Renwick Road.
The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:
Jan. 27: Bernadette Lucy Strand, 36, 416 Fenton, Romeoville, was charged with aggravated DUI and no valid driver’s license. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Jan. 11: Tomas de los Santos-Rios, 42, 718 Echo, Romeoville, was charged with DUI and no valid DL at Route 53 at University Parkway.
Jan. 14: Samantha Baumann, 22, 308 Laurie Drive, Lockport, was charged with DUI, improper lane use and no insurance at Route 53, south of Phelps Avenue.
Jan. 16: Sigmund LaPorta, 42, 3909 Juniper, Joliet, was charged with DWLS and failure to reduce speed at Weber Road, north of Renwick.
Jan. 16: Abigail Nyarko, 24, 715 Oakland, Joliet, was charged with theft under $500 (x2) in the 200 block of South Weber Road.
