Police Blotter: 3 Incidents of Spray Paint Damage Reported on Same Night in Romeoville

Canterbury Drive, Old English Court and Lake Shore Drive: Police estimate the cost to remove the damage from the three criminal defacement of property incidents at $700.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department:

Nov. 9: A criminal defacement to property was reported in the 0-100 block of Canterbury Drive. The rear window of a vehicle that was parked in the street was damaged by unknown person(s) using spray paint. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $50. Time: 10:09 p.m.

Nov. 9: A criminal defacement to property was reported in the 0-100 block of Olde English. The driver’s side of a vehicle that was parked in the street was damaged by unknown person(s) using spray paint. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $250. Time: 10:40 p.m.

Nov. 9: Two criminal defacements of property were reported in the 1800 block of Lake Shore. Two vehicles that were parked in the street had the driver’s side doors spray painted by unknown person(s). Total cost to remove the damage is estimated at $400. Time: 11:06 p.m.
