Did you know that Senior Star at Weber Place opens up its kitchen to the public every Wednesday? Each week, Senior Star serves up a from noon to 3 p.m. for just $5 per person. The menu varies from week to week.
4. Attention expectant and new moms:The Will County Community Health Center recently launched an educational program that provides free health messages via text to expectant mothers and parents of newborns. Interested women can sign up by texting "BABY" to 511411 (BEBE for Spanish). Those who participate in the program will receive three free SMS text messages each week timed to their due date or the new baby's date of birth.
