How to Share Your Fourth of July Photographs on Patch

It's pretty easy to show off patriotic celebrations.

Did you get a great fireworks shot during the ? Or snap a cute photograph of kids at Deer Crossing Park?

Romeoville Patch photographer Jan Ivaska was out in full force Sunday (she got photos of  ), but that doesn't mean you can't share your photographs with the community, too. In fact, readers can upload photographs and videos on any Romeoville Patch articles, but reader contributions are appreciated even more for big community events like the Fourth of July.

Here's how you do it:

1) You must be registered on Patch and logged in to upload photographs and videos, so do that first at Romeoville.patch.com/login. (If you're signing up for a new account, remember that our Terms of Use do not allow aliases. We encourage people to use their first and last names.)

2) After you log in, go to the article you want to use. Click on "Add your photos & videos" in the lower right corner of the media box. The system will ask you to browse for the files and choose which ones to upload in a format similar to what you might use for your email or Facebook.

3) Feel free to write captions for the photographs so we know who is in the photograph and what they are doing.
