Help fight hunger by taking part in this Saturday's . Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Romeoville Recreation Center.

Take part in the White Oak Library District's . Drop your jack-o-lantern or other creation off at the Lockport or Crest Hill branch on Monday, Oct. 10. Winners will be chosen in the family, adult, teen and kid categories.

5. Looking to kick the habit?

The Will County Health Department has announced a new program by the Illinois Tobacco Quitline. For a limited time, Will County residents can receive free to help them quit smoking.
