The Romeoville Recreation Department and Plainfield Park District have teamed up to host the from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Four Seasons Park, 15500 Frontage Road in Plainfield. Kids can enjoy the playground, inflatable obstacle courses, a nature scavenger hunt, crafts and more.

Support CASA of Will County at the concert featuring Jimmy Buffett tribute band Parrots of the Caribbean. The fun kicks off at 5 p.m., with food, drinks and more. The concert starts at 7 p.m. at Deer Crossing Park. Tickets are $15 per person or $40 for families (includes admission for two adults and two kids ages 12 and under).

4. Clean your car, help some four-legged friends

Stop by 7-Eleven, 679 N. Weber Road, on Saturday and for a good cause. Romeoville Humane Society volunteers will be out in force scrubbing cars to raise money for homeless pets.

5. Last chance to rock

Mark your calendars: Featuring the Neverly Brothers, the last free concert in the village’s series is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Deer Crossing Park amphitheater.
