The village’s parks and recreation department will host a grand opening ceremony at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, for the newly remodeled , which now includes a new and improved (and longer!) walking trail, half basketball court, practice baseball field, an in-line hockey court, splash pad and more.

Valley View Superintendent will host the first of six community question-and-answer sessions starting this week. The first Romeoville event is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at R.C. Hill Elementary.

The newly renamed and rebranded NASCAR Car Wash during a grand opening ceremony from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.
