Burglary, Property Crimes: Boy's Bike Swiped from Garage

Also, unknown individuals reportedly threw rocks at a house window and used a pellet gun to damage vehicles, according to Romeoville Police Department reports.

The following property damage/theft incidents were reported to the Romeoville Police Department:

Aug. 25: A resident of the 1400 block of Calendula Court reported a residential burglary. Unknown person(s) took a boy’s bicycle from the garage of the residence. Estimated cost of the bicycle is $160. Time: 2:32 p.m.

Aug. 27: A resident of the 900 block of East Savannah Drive reported a criminal damage to property. Unknown person(s) used an unknown object to scratch the side windows of a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $200. Time: 5:22 p.m.

Aug. 30: A resident of the 1400 block of Coreopsis Court reported a residential burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the residence through a broken window. Nothing was removed from the home. Estimated cost to repair the window is $150. Time 5:25 p.m.

Aug. 31: A resident of the 600 block of Michigan Drive reported a criminal damage to property. A window of the residence was broken when someone threw rocks at it. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $150. Time: 10:34 a.m.

Sept. 1: A resident of the 400 block of Haller and a resident of the 300 block of Haller reported criminal damage to property. Both residents reported vehicle windows that were damaged by unknown person(s) using a pellet gun. Total estimated cost to repair the damage is $400. Time 7:53 a.m.
