Hinsdale Orthopaedics Welcomes Maria Francis, DO.

Hinsdale Orthopaedics welcomes a new Rheumatologist to their team of physicians.  As a Rheumatologist, Dr. Francis provides consultative services for over 100 complex conditions, including autoimmune diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis, and musculoskeletal conditions.  She employs many therapeutic techniques to help patients feel well and function at their personal best, including:  acupuncture, ultrasound-guided cartilage injection, aquatics, botox for Raynaud’s Syndrome, and novel new biologic therapies.  Dr. Francis strives to increase her patients’ knowledge of their diagnosis, in order to get them to participate more fully in their recovery.

Dr. Francis joined Hinsdale Orthopaedics in 2014 and continues to instruct residents and physician assistants at Midwestern University and Rush University (respectively) and is the sole site instructor for Rheumatology rotations at Hinsdale Orthopaedics.   She also helped establish a successful Rheumatology program in an underserved area of Illinois via a fellowship program with the Illinois Department of Public Health.  Dr. Francis has a mission to help bring advances in therapy, accurate diagnoses, and prevention of autoimmune conditions to her patients.

Dr. Francis will see patients in the Hinsdale (630-323-6116) and New Lenox (815-462-3474) locations.
