Sherwin Williams, Other Projects Coming to Romeoville

Several other large warehouse developments are also coming to the village.

The Village of Romeoville welcome a new retailer last week, approving a 3,500-square-foot Sherwin-Williams store that will be built on a vacant lot at 660 S. Weber Road, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The store will be adjacent to the Walgreens store at 680 S. Weber Rd.

Trustees also signed off on a 14,730-square-foot office and warehouse building for Indiana-based George E. Booth Inc. The building, located at 43 E. Belmont Dr. (near Belmont and Anderson drives). The company provides testing materials and services to regional and national pipe companies, according to village documents.

The proposed building will feature a glass entryway and will be constructed of precast panels painted in shades of gray with a red band around the building.

Last month, the village board approved concept plans for two new warehouse developments in the Pinnacle Business Center: an 898,560-square-foot facility built for Pactiv Corp at Taylor and Belmont Roads, and a 672,000-square-foot warenhouse next to an existing Pactive building at 1100 W. Taylor Road.
