Saw it on Craigslist: Heavy-Duty 12-Foot Wood Stepladder

The price is right. And the holidays rapidly are approaching.

His wife bought this heavy-duty 12-foot ladder to decorate for the holidays.

And I Saw it was for sale on Craigslist.

“She didn’t feel all that comfortable climbing on a lightweight aluminum step-ladder, so she bought and had this delivered to our house,” said the Orland Park seller in his ad to unload the ladder. “I agree one does feel a lot more secure going up 9 and 10 feet when using this stepladder.

“But, lately, I’ve been buying smaller Christmas trees and (we) are only using it when trimming a few of our tall evergreen trees … so it’s not being used too frequently and (it) is taking up space.”

The asking price is $200.

The seller says he and his wife originally paid more than $400.

He adds this comment about the ladder, which looks to be in good condition: “(It’s) ideal for millwork, construction trades and the most demanding jobs.”

The seller says he will deliver the ladder for a small fee.

Just on time for the holidays.
