Romeoville Mayor John Noak and staff from G.E. Booth Company, Inc. gathered last week to break ground at the future site of their 15,000-square-foot facility at 43 Belmont Dr. in Romeoville.
"It's a great pleasure to welcome yet another exceptionally successful company to Romeoville. To be in business for 50 years and still expanding is a tremendous feat, and we are proud that G.E. Booth has chosen Romeoville for their expansion needs," said Mayor Noak.
The facility will serve as a base for sales, service and a customer-focused process training program. Owner George E. Booth, Sr. says, "Romeoville fits our business growth plans for the first Midwestern Dynamic Process Training Unit which will showcase the various engineered process components and controls used in local industries."
G.E. Booth is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year of specializing in engineered systems such as test equipment, control panels, valve assemblies and custom-designed controlled systems. G.E. Booth currently employs 50 technical and sales personnel spread over 5 Midwestern states.
Construction is anticipated to be complete in early 2014.
