The weekend is almost here, and if you’re in need of a Friday-morning pick me up, you’re in luck.
Participating 7-Eleven stores — including the Romeoville locations at 235 W. Romeo Road, 31 Alexander Circle and 679 N. Weber Road — are offering a free large coffee to everyone who stops in between 6 and 10 a.m. on on “CofFree Day,” Friday, Sept. 28.
Not going to be in Plainfield Friday morning? No problem. Coffee lovers can download the free timeRAZOR app for iPhone or Android smartphones to find a participating location near them.
The free 20-ounce beverage will also get customers a free vote in this year’s 7-Election. Just choose your candidate’s cup to cast your vote in 7-Eleven’s unscientific presidential poll.
In case you’re curious, President Barack Obama is leading challenger Mitt Romney with 58 percent of the 7-Eleven coffee-drinking vote nationwide, and with 57 percent of the vote in Illinois.
