Bolingbrook OKs Outdoor Seating for McQ's
Patios will serve the business' off-track betting area, as well as the bar and grill.
The Bolingbrook Village Board on Tuesday gave the go-ahead for McQ's Sports Bar, 730 N. Bolingbrook Dr., to add outdoor seating.
The business, located at McQ's Sports Dome, will have outdoor seating the off-track betting area on the east side of the property and near the bar and grill to the west.
McQ's is owned by businessman Jim McWethy, who also operates Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville. The site was formerly known as Ditka Sports Dome before McWethy purchased it in 2012.
The east side outdoor area will have a retractable awning and seating for 70 people, as well as space for live music, according to the Chicago Tribune. The west side will have flat-screen TVs.
