'Big Birthday Adoption Event' This Weekend in Romeoville
Jiffy Lube will partner with Petfinder.com to help find homes for pets.
at 653 N. Independence Blvd. will be part of the Petfinder.com “Big Birthday Adoption Event” taking place this weekend.
The Romeoville Jiffy Lube is one of 25 Jiffy Lube Service Centers in the Chicagoland area that will have dogs on site for adoption to support this event. Petfinder.com is the nation’s largest online searchable database of adoptable pets.
Widely known as the premier "matchmaking" site for people and pets, Petfinder.com is celebrating its birthday with a goal of finding homes for 15,000 pets nationwide during the weekend-long event called the “Big Birthday Adoption Event."

With the most Jiffy Lube Service Centers participating, Chicago and surrounding suburbs will be the largest market to participate. Jiffy Lube owners offered to host this event not only as a way to help find homes for the pets, but also to show customer appreciation within their own community.
The Romeoville Humane Society be at Jiffy Lube with adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. and Sunday. For more information go to www.chicagolandjiffylube.com.
