Pink Friday: Bra Bling Will be on Display at Local Hospital

The staff will be showing off a little bra bling.

And the general public will be able to enjoy bake sale snacks while taking in the sights on "Pink Friday" at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.

The bake sale will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be coordinated so attendees can view the "artwork" created by staff during the hospital's annual "Bra Decorating Contest" on Friday, Sept. 27.

Staff members will create and decorate bras, which then will be put on display, according to a news release from Chris LaFortune, public relations specialist, Adventist Midwest Health. For $1, attendees can vote for their favorite bra and all proceeds will benefit the Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital Breast Cancer Awareness drive.
