Bolingbrook Costco Donates Backpacks to Valley View Schools

Costco is helping kids get off to a good start this school year in Valley View.

In order to help give students “a fresh start”, Costco Wholesale in Bolingbrook donated more than 400 backpacks filled with school supplies to B.J. Ward Elementary School in Bolingbrook and Irene King Elementary School in Romeoville.

Thanks to the Costco “Fresh Start Backpack Program,” the backpacks were given to students who might not otherwise be able to afford them.

Included in each backpack were a zippered pencil pouch, two pocket style folders, a 12 inch ruler, an eraser and child’s scissors.
