Time to Get Rockin': Summer Concert Series Starts Sunday

Performances will take place in the new Deer Crossing Park Amphitheater.

Starting Sunday, area residents can enjoy the village’s free summer concert series, “Rockin’ the Ville.”

The concerts, sponsored by DuPage Township, will be held in the Amphitheater. Concessions and adult beverages will be available for purchase at each show.

This summer’s schedule is as follows:

  • Sunday, June 5: The Rhythm Rockets will perform vintage rhythm and blues from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 16: Classic rock band Five Guys Named Moe will take the stage from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 21: Hey Jimmy, a Chicago-based party band, will perform from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 18: Country/rock band Yard Fulla Cars is slated to perform from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Sept. 15: Local Rockabilly band The Neverly Brothers will hit the stage from 7 to 9 p.m.
