Medieval UFO Sightings at Romeoville Branch Library

Ever since 1947 sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects have bewitched and puzzled us, providing stories for the news and subjects for film and television. However, UFO sightings have been recorded since the beginning of written history itself. UFO researchers are only beginning to scratch the surface of the great number of Medieval accounts of visits from flying discs, balls of light, and other unclassifiable "Wonders in the Sky." Investigator Sam Maranto of Illinois Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is returning to the Romeoville Branch on Saturday, June 18th, to give a lecture and presentation on some of the more astounding and mystifying cases of UFO sightings through history, from the dawn of civilization through the Middle Ages and beyond. This program is open to the entire public and registration is free! Sign up at the Reference Desk or call 815-886-2030 for more information!
