Library's New Movie Afternoon to Feature 'The Help'

The is pleased to announce New Movie Afternoon featuring "The Help" at its Lockport Branch Library.

Based on the book by Kathryn Stockett, "The Help" is a story about very different, extraordinary women in the 1960s South who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project — one that breaks society’s rules and puts them all at risk. We’ll have popcorn for everyone that attends. After the movie is completed, there will be a discussion about the movie and the book.

Registration is required; we’ll meet in the Community Room at the Lockport Branch. Please visit, call, or email the Adult Services desk to register for this free program.
New Movie Afternoon.
