Meet Tye Tye, a 9-year-olld male Bichon Frise available for adoption:
Tye Tye is a loveable ol guy who needs a little extra patience and love. He is considered a senior, but he has spurts of puppy-like energy. Tye Tye bounces around with tiny plush toys, gets into his play positions, and he gets in a good workout for about 10 minutes a day. YES – He is house trained.
Tye Tye does well for car rides, but might need a boost up. He will snuggle and cuddle you to death. His favorite place is on your lap. Meal time is fun; he gets very excited if you sprinkle "the goodies" (tiny bits of meat, cheese, or probiotic greek yogurt) on top. He'll kick his legs backwards and sneeze, every time. He's good with kids, he is currently around a three year old daily. Tye Tye has learned that it is safe and enjoyable to be picked up and held, however, he is still a little apprehensive. Leashed walks are enjoyable, but he keeps to the grass more - it seems that concrete walks irritate his pads. He'll do better in a harness rather than a typical collar-leash combo, because he does pull a little. He isn't overly hyper, and he's not a couch potato. He will be your little shadow and he gets sad when you walk away from him. He sleeps in a crate at night (only because the cat claims the bed), but he is more than happy to cuddle under the blankets with you if you let him. He is a five star dog... he only needs his furever family to find him.
Tye Tye’s $150 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm and fecal tests, and microchipping. For more information on adoption, contact the Romeoville Humane Society by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (877) 813-7300.
