RomeoFest Saturday Fireworks Canceled; Sunday Show Still Scheduled

The village promises Sunday's show will be the biggest the event has seen.

The Village of Romeoville on Saturday announced that due to "unforeseen circumstances," the Saturday night fireworks show — which had been postponed from Friday night — has been canceled.

"However, tomorrow night's show will go on as planned and promises to be one you don't want to miss," the village said in a press release. "The village has hired the world famous Melrose Pyro techniques for Sunday's Grand Finale show! Melrose is the vendor used by the City of Chicago, White Sox and Chicago Bears."

The release from the village promised, "This show will be the biggest one that Romeoville has ever seen!"
