Kids ages 15 and under are invited to "Fish with a Firefighter" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at Romeoville's Like Strini Conservation Park, 524 Belmont Dr.
The event is hosted by the Village of Romeoville and Romeoville Fire Department.
Participants should bring their own poles and bait. The village will provide activities, prizes, food, touch-a-truck and an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog.
