McAsey Hosts Free Child ID Event in Romeoville

Parents can get free child ID kits Saturday at the Romeoville Recreation Center.

State Rep. Emily McAsey (D-Lockport) and the Illinois Masonic Fraternity will hsot a free child ID program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Rd.

Parents will get a child protection kit including a DNA sample, their child's fingerprints and a CD containing a color photo and recorded interview to help law enforcement locate a missing child in an emergency.
