Community Service Council Announces New Board Members

Community Service Council of Northern Will County is proud to announce the appointment of Brian Cedergren and Derek Cazeau to their board of directors.  The appointments received unanimous support of the current board members at its April 15 meeting.
"New CSC board members Derek Cazeau and Brian Cedergren share a passion and a commitment to the CSC's mission," board president Carol Penning said. "They are willing to roll up their sleeves and help with the practical work facing the CSC Board. Derek and Brian have financial backgrounds, experience working with large budgets and both understand the dynamics of board interaction.  We are pleased to have them as a part of the team and I believe they will infuse the current board with new insights, ideas and active participation."
Cazeau currently serves as the executive director of the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation, a position he has held since the foundation's inception five years ago. He is currently involved with the Rotary Club of Bolingbrook and has a wife and two children.
Cedergren is the current president/CEO of the Abri Credit Union. He brings over 25 years of financial services experience to the table and moved to Illinois in 2007 to take his current position at Abri. His contributions to the community also include he is currently an active Rotarian, a member of the Will County Center of Economic Development, is a board member for the Illinois Credit Union League CUPAC committee and is a member of the American Share Insurance Advisory Council. Cedergren has a wife and three sons.
