Senior Star at Weber Place Hosts Annual Memorial Day Veterans Luncheon and Ceremony

Veterans invited to be honored; public invited to celebrate local heroes

 

ROMEOVILLE, IL (May 16, 2014) – Senior Star at Weber Place is pleased to host a Memorial Day Veterans luncheon and ceremony honoring local veterans.  The event is free and open to veterans, residents, family members and the general public to be held at noon on Monday, May 26 at 605 South Edward Drive in Romeoville.

This special Memorial Day event is held annually at Senior Star at Weber Place to honor the veterans from Senior Star and the greater Romeoville community, and to remember the fallen soldiers for their loyal and dedicated service to our country.

“We are excited to offer an opportunity for local veterans and families to come together to honor and remember fellow soldiers,” said Michelle Franzak, executive director of Senior Star at Weber Place.  “It’s a wonderful time to remember those who have served us so selflessly.” 

 

Lunch will be provided for all attendees, followed by a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. by the local pond.  An RSVP is requested by May 23.  Please call 815.439.9955 to reserve your space.
