Some people call it “Hump Day.” At one local eatery—Coop’s Den—they call it “Wine Down Wednesday.”
The restaurant—located at 148 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook—serves half-priced bottles of wine and features BBQ Chicken and Ribs for $12.99 as part of a weekly promotion that runs from 4 p.m. to midnight on Wednesdays.
And how’s the food at Coop’s Den? Well, the restaurant rates 2.5 stars (out of 5) on Yelp. Said Hsia F. of Darien: “Came in on a Wednesday, I think that's Salsa night. It was a nice, clean and very welcoming atmosphere. Mr. Cooper came over and introduced himself and was very charismatic as most business owners should be. The food was good and priced at a fair price.”
So, the question is this: Are you ready to “Wine Down?”
