Wine Down Wednesday? Here's a Chance to Break Up Your Work Week

Local restaurant turns every Wednesday into an opportunity to "Wine Down."

Some people call it “Hump Day.” At one local eatery—Coop’s Den—they call it “Wine Down Wednesday.”

The restaurant—located at 148 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook—serves half-priced bottles of wine and features BBQ Chicken and Ribs for $12.99 as part of a weekly promotion that runs from 4 p.m. to midnight on Wednesdays.

And how’s the food at Coop’s Den? Well, the restaurant rates 2.5 stars (out of 5) on Yelp. Said Hsia F. of Darien: “Came in on a Wednesday, I think that's Salsa night. It was a nice, clean and very welcoming atmosphere. Mr. Cooper came over and introduced himself and was very charismatic as most business owners should be. The food was good and priced at a fair price.”
