If you normally think “silver” on the occasion of a 25-year anniversary, you’ll need to adjust your mindset to help the Will County Habitat for Humanity mark a milestone.
How does spaghetti sound? And a 5K HomeRun Race & Walk?
Well, those are the featured attractions as the Will County Habitat for Humanity celebrates its 25th anniversary this weekend. The celebration begins with a “Cram the Carbs” spaghetti dinner that runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at the Cathedral of St. Raymond, 604 N. Raynor Ave., Joliet.
Then, on Saturday, there is a 5K HomeRun Race & Walk. The start line is at ReStore, 200 Larkin Ave., Joliet. Registration is at 7 a.m. And the race start time is at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 online/$35 the day of the race.
