Big day, big lineup. Dignitaries and celebrities.
The newest Sam’s Club will open Thursday (Oct. 3) in Romeoville following an 8 a.m. Grand Opening Ceremony hosted by the Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce. And plenty of big name guests will be on hand to mark the occasion, the list running the gamut from Sam’s Club President and CEO Rosalind Brewer to Romeoville Mayor John Noak and cornerback Tim Jennings and tight end Desmond Clark of the Bears.
Brewer and Noak will speak during Grand Opening Ceremony festivities to start the day. Later, Clark (5-7 p.m.) and Jennings (6:30 to 8 p.m.) will sign autographs for fans, according to a news release issued by Sam’s Club headquarters. The newest Sam’s Club is located at 460 S. Weber Road, Romeoville.
“We’re excited about Sam’s Club opening in Romeoville,” Noak stated in the news release. “This will provide additional retail options as well as job opportunities for our residents. It will also draw customers from other Will County communities to Romeoville.”
